What is your return policy?ArtbytheArtist.com offers a thirty day money back guarantee on all artwork sold. In the event that your purchase does not meet your expectations, you may return it within thirty days of receiving the order. We will issue you a full refund or credit on the price of the art and pay for the return shipping. You must use the original packaging for return shipping. At this time, there are no returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.
How do I return a piece of artwork?Our return process is easy. When you first receive your purchase, save the original packaging. Repackage the art in its original container and contact us at
customerservice@ArtbytheArtist.com. We will then issue you a prepaid shipping label. Items must be shipped within seven days of receiving the order. Art that is returned damaged will not be refunded.
Her father was a student at Les Beaux Art in Paris, her mother, at L' ecole Des Art Decoative.
Martine Castoro was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She went to the world renowned Art school, Art Center School of Design in Pasadena. There she graduated with honors in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in fine art, with a minor in illustration.
She then started working in Los Angeles, working on movie posters, album covers, magazines illustrations, video covers, book covers. She also taught Design at Art Center, Santa Monica City College and California Art Institute.
She then moved to Laguna Beach California. There she began her Fine Art career.
She started showing her work in galleries in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach California.
In 1994 her and her husband, opened their first restaurant (and art gallery), Ti Amo in Laguna Beach, filling it with paintings, ceiling frescos, murals and art.
In 2003 she was invited to a new gallery in Laguna Beach. There she sold paintings locally and internationally.
In 2005, she moved Boise Idaho. She then opened Barbacoa Restaurant, a restaurant filled with artwork, murals and visual stimuli.
